OUR STORY
Angel Creek Ranch was created as a refuge from every day life.
A place there everyone is welcome to come as they are and experience the life changing benefits of working with horses, both on the saddle and on the ground in a fun, safe and relaxing environment.
If you are looking for a place where connection, education and inclusiveness are paramount, you have come to the right place.

As people, what do we value most? Shared experience, being trusted, accepted, to know and be known... People are both individual and communal. We need each other, but understanding personalities within a group, variation of culture, different communication styles and discovering one's purpose pose a lot of challenges. This is where people developing skills to become effective leaders (no matter their role or circumstance) and working with horses intersect. We can learn about ourselves and effective leadership by learning to understand a horse's honest feedback. This is called, Equine Assisted Learning or EAL.
Horses are driven by a refined survival instinct that allows them to constantly assess the quality and clarity of a person's intentions. They are sensitive to and non-judgmental toward your energy. Their feedback is honest and instant. In the horse's behavior, you will see a reflection of your leadership skills. Are you confident? Are you agitated? Are you calm? They will know and respond. Our EAL facilitators assist our guests in identifying their challenges and our leadership programs are designed to hone skills that clarify communication, teach an awareness of relational dynamics and nurture the roles each of us have in life, work and community. Our EAL programs have been scientifically researched to deliver measurable results. We hope you will join us!
