Summer Camp 2016

 

 

Herd Dynamics horse camp blends riding and camp activity favourites with Equine Assisted Learning to ensure your child returns to school more confident and ready to take on the world!

Our location is on Salem Road, just minutes from both the 401 and 407 which makes for easy pick ups and drop offs. 

 

 Summer day camp for riders age 6+

 

All skill levels are welcome as activities and groups are scaled to meet the needs of participants.

 

Introductions to various disciplines will be introduced throughout the week including trail riding, jumping, bareback and dressage.

This unique horse camp experience packs a ton of riding, education and Equine Assisted Learning into a fun filled week.  There will also be sports, fun activities such as nature hikes, scavenger hunts and crafts.

 

Each week has different activities for participants joining us for Multiple weeks.

 

The last Friday afternoon of each Camp session is a horse show for parents for the participants to show off their skills!

 

Here’s an example of a typical day:  

8:30am Arrival
9am - 10am: Horsemanship or horse health lesson
10am - 10:15am: Snack Time
10:30am-11:30am: Riding Lessons
12:00pm-1pm: Lunch
1:15pm-2:15pm: Group Activity such as crafts, nature walks or sports.
2:15pm-2:30pm: Snack
3pm - 4pm: Equine Assisted Learning Activity.
4:30pm Pick Up

 

Cost: $395 Per week. Only $375 per week if paid by April 1st!
