Hooves of Happiness Overview

Horses have been proven to increase confidence, boost spirits, and improve the wellbeing of those around them. We believe that the life changing power of horses should be accessible to everyone, regardless of physical or financial barriers.

Hooves for Happiness is an initiative created by Herd Dynamics and Connect! Equine Assisted Learning, and our mandate is twofold:

To bring joy and laughter in the form of miniature horses to locations where they are needed most, such as hospitals, nursing homes, and educational facilities. Our miniature horses are experts in their field.

To provide accessible Equine Assisted Learning programs at our facilities, for individuals who would benefit from this service but face financial barriers.
​
The overhead for managing an Equine assisted learning program is significant. Hooves of Happiness relies entirely on private donations and gifts in kind to fund our programs.

There are several ways you can help:

By donating funds **Please note that we cannot issue tax receipts at this time**

By sponsoring one of our horses

By attending our fundraising events and programs.

By donating gifts in kind, such as the items on our wish list.
Our wish list:

Gift cards to TSC, Home depot, tack shops, gas cards (trailering the little guys gets expensive!).

Old tractor tires, jumps, PVC piping, wood, and other construction materials (to build obstacles for our Equine Assisted Learning programs).

Horse supplies such as fly spray, first aid items, buckets, halters, lead ropes, etc.

A hay sponsor

A shavings sponsor

A sand sponsor to re-do the footing at our Ajax facility

A trailer sponsor or donation trailer to transport our minis on their missions of happiness
All of our corporate sponsors will receive acknowledgement on our social media pages as well as a promotional banner on display in an arena.
